official symbol of the Department as written on the
approval Memorandum from Ministry of Culture, Youth
& Sport, Reference: (27) KKBS 1.5 dated 3rd March

colours of the national flag of Brunei Darussalam,
i.e. yellow, white and black.
The scroll has a Brunei traditional design called
air muleh which symbolise the Bruneian gentle
and courteous characters. Keramunting flower
considered to be a symbol of satisfaction.
